Do I need to cancel my current broadband when switching?

Yes, you can use your own router, as long as it’s not locked by your previous provider. When you switch to us, we’ll provide you with your username and password to connect it.

How is Full Fibre broadband installed?

If your Full Fibre (FTTP) service requires an engineer visit, we’ll text you with the installation date. You can also track it via the UW app. On installation day, the engineer will call you ahead of time to discuss access to your property.
Here’s how it works:

You and the engineer will agree on how to bring the connection into your home.
The engineer will drill a hole for the fibre cable, install a junction box outside, and run the cable through the wall.
An Optical Network Terminal (ONT) will be installed, where your router will connect.
